2018 Annual Leadership Conference
When: Monday, May 21st, 10am – 4pm
Note: Treasurers Training will be held one hour earlier at 9am
Where: RPEC Offices, 5th Floor, 906 Columbia St SW, Olympia
Why: It’s important for leadership and those interested in leadership to communicate regarding issues impacting the membership from legislation to organization.
Now that elections are being completed in your Chapters, we are holding a Leadership Conference on May 21st from 10-4 with a Treasurer’s Training taking place prior to it from 9-10 am. We are inviting potential leaders as well as those currently holding office. The Leadership Conference will include a discussion on the legislative efforts impacting RPEC members, messaging on our issues, political activities, and customizing the roles and responsibilities with in the organization.
Our priorities are the protection of pensions, health care, Social Security and Medicare. As you know these continue to be under attack. As an organization of 10,000 and growing, we have a powerful voice if we act collectively. We therefore need the input from all Chapter leaders and those interested in becoming leaders to strengthen this organization as attacks continue.
The Council will provide lunch at this event but any other expenses are the responsibility of the Chapter.
