The Retired Public Employees Council has over 9,500 members who are retired from state, city, county, local governments and some school districts.
We are divided geographically into nine districts, each with an elected executive board member except for King County, which has two board members. We are further divided into 40 local chapters. Chapters meet at least four times per year, elect their own officers and delegates to the annual convention, which is the main governing body of the organization.
Local chapters receive $1.00 per month from dues for each member in the chapter. This money funds chapter activities.
