An order was granted last week consolidating cases under Cause # 11-2-02213-4. Order was granted 17 January 2012 by the Honorable Judge Wickham. See attached order here.

Eric, Thank you for the comment. This order consolidated the original RPEC lawsuit, the WEA lawsuit and the WFSE lawsuit. This consolidation should streamline and speed up the hearings process for all. We will continue to update this topic, and try to provide additional information so as to not leave anyone hanging with questions.

As one following this matter with interest, I would find it useful if the note indicated how this helps advance the matter of restoring COLA’s for PERS 1 retirees. Does this consolidation mean that matter will be addressed sooner?
